Those of you in IRC EFnet #PS2Ownz are already aware of this, but for the rest of the world we can confirm that a CloneCD HD Loader image (411MB RAR'd) has made it way to the net. With that being said, anyone requesting related © material here will be immediately PERM BANNED from out Web sites... so keep things @ IRC only!

 

Now on to the news... although the 1:1 image released is 100% valid, as we mentioned in our past news there is anti-piracy protection on the HD Loader disc to prevent it from working without being on a PRESSED original disc. What happens? It's quite simple... it loads to the main menu for most, and then (before you can play any game) it goes to a BLACK SCREEN due to the 'check' in the software to verify it's an original HD Loader disc.

 

So what use is the HD Loader image then? Absolutely NONE... until a crack/patch is available for it of course! Those with a PRESSED version of HD Loader will be pleased to know it does install legal PS2 game back-ups to the HDD though.

 

Some brief EARLY observations of the HD Loader tell us the following:

 

* it displays as CRAZY_TAXI in IsoBuster... pressed by Datel/Success perhaps?

* the SLUS_202.02 is considerably large in size (likely the brunt of the utility, unless Crazy Taxi's was this size also? *G*) and most of the other files on the disc appear to be useless at first glance anyway

* the MAIN.IRX appears to be complete BS on the surface, but could contain MAGICGATE stuff explaining this- will be examined soon enough

* the CD appears to be based on 'hidden' files (not TOC-based)... DVDRippers will understand this so we won't go into it here

* it may contain a check similar to the Disc ID check that DNA$ utilizes... explaining why an original PRESSED HD Loader doesn't end up at a BLACK SCREEN when running like the image does- we'll know soon enough!

sachant que la version est en vente a juste 20 euro grace a l'achat a plusieur sur lotre topic, pk vous voulez tous l'avoir de facon lillégal, c'est pas plus agréable d'avoir un truc bien emballé et tout neuf kon a payé puis c koi 21 euro, avec irc et emule un jour vous tomberez sur un bo virus qui fera plus de 21 euro de dégat sur votre pc.....
